The HCC Scholarship window is now OPEN!
Do you want to:
- Improve your own knowledge, career or business
- Travel abroad
- Learn more about the red meat sector around the world;
- Feedback information to other producers here in Wales?
Then we would like to hear from you!
HCC offers this annual scholarship to applicants who are employed on a full time basis within the Welsh red meat industry and who will, in the opinion of the interview panel, be able to make an ongoing contribution to the industry.
Successful applicants will spend up to six weeks studying the sheep, beef or pork industry in a country of their choice.
They must prove, through a selection process, how they would benefit as individuals from a HCC Scholarship opportunity and how their experiences would benefit the Welsh industry in general if they were selected. They will be expected, on their return, to present details and findings to the farming industry and also undertake a series of presentations to farmer groups.
Closing date: 1 March 2024
